Return/Refund/Replacement Policies:

Alexandrian Films, Inc. wants you to have an excellent experience purchasing the "Kalifornistan" DVD. While we are confident you will be pleased with every aspect of ordering and receiving the DVD, we also offer our customers the following Return/Refund/Replacement policies:

Return policy for unopened DVDs:

If you change your mind after ordering the "Kalifornistan" DVD from this website but have not yet opened or removed the outer shrink-wrap from the DVD, you may return the unopened DVD in its original packaging and shrink-wrap and we will refund you the full purchase price plus applicable sales taxes you paid for the DVD (there will be no refunds for the original shipping & handling fee). The DVD must be mailed back to us with a post-marked date that is within 14 calendar days of the date that the DVD was originally mailed to you. You will be responsible for paying for the return air mail postage and for mailing the returned DVD in an appropriate padded mailer or cushioned box so that the DVD is received by us in new, unopened, resellable condition. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method within seven business days of the receipt of the returned, unopened, resellable DVD.

Policy for opened DVDs:

We are currently unable to offer any refunds for DVDs that have been opened or that have had their original shrink-wrap/packaging removed or altered, unless the DVD is damaged or defective (please see the policy below for damaged/defective DVDs). Otherwise, all DVDs that are opened or that have been viewed or used in any way, or that have had their outer shrink-wrap removed or altered, will be considered a final sale and will not have their purchase price, sales taxes, or shipping & handling fee refunded.

Policy for Damaged/Defective DVDs:

If you receive a DVD that is damaged or defective due to a manufacturing error or shipping/handling error on our part, please notify us immediately at customerservice@alexandrianfilms.com and we will make arrangements to ship you a new, replacement DVD. In order for us to ship you a new, replacement DVD, however, you will need to mail back the damaged/defective DVDs to us. Upon our receipt of the returned damaged/defective DVD, we will examine the DVD to make sure that the error was on our part, and once that is determined, we will promptly mail you at our expense a new, replacement DVD. Please note that we will not be able to offer replacement DVDs for DVDs that we determine have been deliberately damaged or broken or altered to be unplayable in any way - or, alternately, that are not damaged or defective and are found to be in playable condition. All such DVDs will be shipped back to the customer. Please also note that beyond sending you a new replacement DVD, there will no refund for the original DVD purchase price, sales taxes, or for the original shipping & handling fee.
